NYC FASHION

For many Fashion Designers this has been one of the most anticipated weeks of the year.

F-A-S-H-I-O-N W-E-E-K !!!!!!! Being a fashion enthusiast myself, attending one of their shows would be a dream come true. However, for now watching the live streams and following a vast majority of the designers on social media, I got a glimpse of their upcoming and now current collections. From Marc Jacobs, to Tory Burch, To Carolina Herrera, I have all the insiders for you...just in case you missed them!

My favorites of the week were the following:

RALPH LAUREN:

Apart from an extraordinary, beyond beautiful, color scheme and ready-to-wear pieces that any female would dream of wearing when in Manhattan, Ralph gave the whole package when he designed his runway. Giving a beautiful garden of greenery with white orchids to his audience. Completely outstanding. Beige, Sand Colors and of course a bit of neutral animal prints to make a statement. These were my favorite pieces:

TORY BURCH

Tory's desire to demonstrate love during her show & giving a story to her audience by being inspired with Katherine Hepburn's "The Philadelphia Story" she managed to transmit feminism and the definition of finding your identity throughout her array of pieces. From winter whites to plaid to elegant eccentric gowns, her line definitely grabbed my attention and I LOVED it! One of my FAVORITE details of her collection and the way she introduced it was the hair details. The models each wore a black velvet ribbon with a low pony tail and I can't stop obsessing over it. Major Blair Waldorf Vibes! (it's actually very funny because my sister would always wear ribbons like that to school in Venezuela, my mom would always put it on her and a few weeks ago I told her I wanted to wear one and now this week I saw it on the runway! LOVE!)

CAROLINA HERRERA

#ProudVenezuelan Carolina has always been one of my favorite designers and there is no doubt why. She is the true definition of elegance. This week she definitely put a bow on it (no pun intended....maybe)

OSCAR DE LA RENTA

Never Fails to have beautiful array of pieces, my favorite male designer for gowns without a doubt. May he R.I.P I cannot begin to explain how effortless and gorgeous the pieces were. I fell in love when I saw these pictures. Laura Kim & Fernando Garcia did amazing. One word to describe their work, Breathtaking.
