Holiday Party Accessories Must Haves
My favorite month is officially here. December. A time that is filled with love, family, reflections, giving, joy, happiness, and plenty of fun times and memories to make!
Apart from the holiday spirit, my favorite thing about December is definitely the celebrations, it is a perfect way to go all out with your attire without having anyone judge you!! So, i decided to share with you all my current obsession that i have already incorporated in my fall outfits (as seen on my personal IG @mazzielisgutierrez_)and plan to incorporate at least a couple of times into my December outfits. Also, it is a great way to get into the holiday spirit!
Velvet
Apart from it being a trend right now, velvet finished pieces truly do make any outfit more elegant and much more festive. There is a variety of options when opting for velvet accessories or clothes, from pants to dresses to headbands to shoes. I honestly love the fact that this 90's velvet trend has made a comeback because it is so versatile! Below are a few of my favorite picks from this trend...
Although many people might say that this trend is only for cold weather, I must disagree, there are endless ways that you can incorporate velvet to your outfit. As many of the pictures I chose , you can easily pair some ankle velvet boots with some shorts or simply wear a cami lace top (which is totally in now) with a white tee shirt under and you have yourself a velvet cami combo! or wearing a simple velvet headband with a blouse, endless ways! BUT I must say that even it you want to dress the look down it will appear a bit more elegant which is why i highly recommend wearing velvet to a dinner or party and specially to any holiday party!
