Staying Sane During Finals Week
Now that the semester is practically over and every college student is going through finals week, I wanted to share with you how I handle my stressful week. I am sure I am not the only college student that gets extremely stressful and at times it may cause me to get sick (as i am now), and would love to stay in bed all day and avoid responsibilities, but over the two years I have been in college I have managed to create a routine that somehow makes it easier for me to keep everything under control and above all continue to study, write papers, and be in control of the busiest week of a college student (as if the semester as a whole isn't already super busy :( #CollegeProbz)

The fact that I am aiming towards college students does not primarily mean that if you are not in college you cant try these tips out, EVERYONE deserves a little pampering and a relax from busy work days, or just extreme tension. I for one love to do these every single day! Lol, I am just obsessed with being zen and relaxed, am i the only one ladies/gentlemen?
Light a Candle
For starters, believe me when I say that I am a nerd and I understand that school is extremely important. However, school is not as important as your health. As my mom says " If you dont have a healthy life you can't function in class." By this i mean that stressing out to the fullest is physically drenching and bad for our bodies and mind. It consumes all of our energy and makes us pale, dehydrated, and very weak.
So, to avoid this little dilemma I love to light a candle! I am deeply obsessed with candles, i have candles all over my house and I dont think I will ever have enough to be honest. But, to remain on the same topic, It helps you relax and breathe. It keeps you zen, the aroma helps you clear your mind of any concern or stressful exams (at least for a little). Light a candle up and take five minutes for yourself to breathe in and out. At all times there is a candle burning in my room and in my house, whether i am studying or just doing homework it helps a lot, trust me. Plus, its always picture worthy!

Stay Organized
It is so important to keep a balanced life. Specially, during finals week! I highly recommend having an agenda where you can mark down your exams date and time for the week because there is nothing worst that missing your final. There are a variety of agendas out there but only 2 have truly gotten my love! Those are the Erin Condren and the Kate Spade agendas! (Equally fun and great is the Lilly Pulitzer) They are fun, beautiful, trendy, and extremely bright which help me to stay motivated. Which gets me to the next point, buy highlighters, markers, stickers, anything that gets you excited to go your final that day! It ALWAYS works for me. The best feeling is to finally cross out what you already completed!

Take a Hot Bubble Bath
Taking a warm/hot bath is always the best to relax and be stress free. Throw in a lush bomb and it does wonders! Dim the lights and once again light a candle, and you can even take in your study guide and while taking a bubble bath you are studying!

Don't Be Antisocial!
I am still working on this myself because I am very shy but I have tried to get out of my comfort zone and set up study sessions with people in my classes to get better prepared for the exam! This works so well!! You have someone that can help you get your concerns out of the way and you can both/ or group can help one another to determine solutions for your problems or lesson/topic. Also, invite them to a Starbucks, Panera, or somewhere where you get a different environment and it forces you to study and complete your assignments/ study guides before the place closes, etc.

Thank You for Reading!
Happy Studying!!!
